Post Event Reflection | TBC Job Fair 3.0
On 2nd September The British College held the "TBC Job Fair 3.0" on the College premises at the Trade Tower, Thapathali, in association with Frox Job.
On the day, a total of 25 leading businesses got together to create a platform for students, graduates, and alumni to network with leading firms - including ACT 360, Beyond ID, Chaudhary Group, Genius, IMS Group, Majestic Marketing, Yeti Airlines, Leapfrog, Daraz, Loop Networks, Nepal Payment Solution, Subisu Cablenet, Esewa, Unilever, The Idea Jar, Genese Solutions, Sulab Pay, Rigo Technologies, Ktm Rush and the Asria Group.
Joining them were a host of top companies - including multinational and nonprofit organizations, as well as businesses in the manufacturing, retail, accounting, and information technology industries who also offered training sessions to help prepare the students for the day.
The event began with an opening ceremony where Arun Joshi, Associate Dean of Academics at TBC welcomed everyone and introduced Bimal Kandel, CEO at FroxJob. In total 233 interviews were then conducted, and at the end of the event feedback and suggestions were collected to ensure that the next fair is an even bigger success.
Mr Yamal Chandra Rajbhandary, Associate Dean of Quality and Assurance at The British College then delivered a closing speech and handed over Tokens of Appreciation to the Company Representatives.
Speaking about the success of the day, Amardeep Mandal, Head of Marketing at The British College, said “We see this annual event as an extension of our mission to provide our students with the best possible opportunities, and to provide the community with the best possible employees. I would like to thank everyone who took part and wish all of the students who attended interviews the best of luck”.
